Charles Barry Hogge, 47, of Gloucester, passed away May 16, 2014 at his home.

Barry was a carpenter having worked most of his life in construction. He was always a happy, free-spirited person who was a good friend, son and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Judson Hogge.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Diggs; sister, Mary Beth Hogge and her companion Kevin Tabb, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service conducted by the Rev. Garry Livermon will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 on Saturday at the church.
