Changes are coming to Rappahannock Community College. There will be new a building, facilities as well as new programs for the Glenns and Warsaw campuses and the New Kent off-campus site.
Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation, Inc., located in Warsaw, received a $5.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration to support its new Health Science Building. The new Health Science building will be built on the Warsaw campus, the first new instructional building in 45 years for RCC. The building, approximately 9,000 square feet, will include simulation labs, classrooms, student study rooms as well as offices for nursing, EMS, diagnostic medical sonography and other health care programs.
“We are building this building on land that is owned by the RCC Educational Foundation. The land is located adjacent to the Chinn House” in Warsaw, said RCC president Shannon Kennedy.
