The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Gloucester Wine Festival from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Gloucester Institute (formerly Moton Center), Cappahosic.

Chamber executive director Makalia Records said that event will include live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, jewelry, food vendors, and wine tastings with about a half-dozen Virginia wineries scheduled to participate.

Cost is $20 per person in advance, or $25 each at the door. The fee gives admits guests to the adult event, Records said, with unlimited wine samples and an event logo wine glass souvenir to take home.

Business training

The chamber, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Business Assistance and the Gloucester Department of Economic Development, will sponsor an Entrepreneur Express Workshop from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Hampton Inn, located off Route 17 south of the village.
