CH Players to present ‘Almost, Maine’ this weekend

The comedy/drama “Almost, Maine” will be presented by The Court House Players Friday through Sunday at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins.
Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Doors open an hour early for social hour, with desserts, snacks, and beverages available for purchase.
“Almost, Maine” is about a town in Maine that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never get around to getting organized. So it’s just … Almost.
In a series of vignettes that all take place one cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, cast members share the stories of Almost’s residents, who find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways.
