The Chesapeake Bay Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons celebrated its 25th birthday last Thursday at New Point Friends Church. The circle was formed on Feb. 24, 1997 with eight charter members: Mildred Diggs, Thelma Hudgins, Faye and Pearl Hutchinson, June Rowe, Ann Rowe, Virginia Dare Sadler and Maxine Wilson. Nan Pointer and Jean Heywood of the York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons, Gloucester, were instrumental in its formation.
