CCS to present original musical this weekend

The Christchurch School Visual and Performing Arts Department will present its annual winter musical on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. both days.
The script for “S.S. Rappahannock” is original and was written by students. The action takes place aboard the cruise liner S. S. Rappahannock.
The production will take place in the David & Wendy Fine and Performing Arts Center in Marston Hall on the school’s Middlesex County campus.
General admission seating is $10, and reserved table seating (which includes light food and beverages) is $25. Concessions will be available.

Christchurch Choral and Performing Arts Instructor Regan Sprenkle is the musical’s director. She is assisted by faculty members Dr. Kerry O’Grady and Jim Robb.
Local stars of the show include seniors Maggie Lancaster of Port Haywood as Captain Maisie Fisher and Sage Tietjen-Forsythe of Gloucester as Sage, and junior Lillian Williams of North as Sophie.
