CCS to present ‘Festival of Lessons and Carols’

Christchurch School will present its 43rd annual Festival of Lessons and Carols on Sunday in St. Peter’s Chapel on the school’s campus in Middlesex County. The service will include performances by Cantorion, student and faculty soloists, and special guest performer Erik Demario, a 2018 CCS graduate.
Originally from Kilmarnock, Demario is a tenor pursuing a professional career in opera and classical singing. He is a graduate of VCU and an alum of the VCU Opera Program. His most recent performances include singing backup for Sarah Brightman on her Christmas Symphony Tour and performing as Tamino in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.”
Demario performs regularly with several Richmond-based companies including the Richmond Symphony Chorus, Commonwealth Concert Opera, Classical Revolution, and more.
