Christchurch School will host the annual John Stone Memorial Basketball Tournament on Friday and Saturday in Yarbrough Gymnasium on the school’s campus in Middlesex County. The tournament is held each year in memory of John Stone, a 1986 CCS graduate.
This year, the Seahorses will host Caroline High School, Cape Henry Collegiate, and Fork Union Military Academy.The tournament will tip off at 4 p.m. Friday with Christchurch vs. Caroline High School. Cape Henry Collegiate will play Fork Union at 5:30.
The Christchurch girls’ varsity team will play St. Gertrude’s Academy at 7.
The tournament’s consolation round will start at noon Saturday, with the championship game at 2. The tournament is free and open to the public.
