Catherine Brooks Morgan, 97, of Onemo, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. She was born to Winfield and Jessie Brooks on November 25, 1926. Catherine retired as a teller from Bank of America after many years of service. She loved spending time with her family and friends and visiting her neighbors. She was a member of Peniel Friends Church and was devoted to serving there.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Chase White Morgan.

Catherine is survived by her son, Chase W. Morgan (Barbara); granddaughters, Jessica M. Callis (Steve) and Rachel M. Sterne (Jeff), and great-grandsons, Morgan, Carter and Caleb Sterne.

The family received friends on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews. A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel with burial at Pear Tree Cemetery, Onemo. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 1130, Mathews, Va. 23109, or to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, 94 Cricket Hill Road, Hudgins, Va. 23109.
