Carroll Lee Spencer, age 78, of North, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

He was a retired central office technician for Verizon and a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church.

Survived by Ellen F. Carneal; a special friend, John Hall; cousins, Audrey Jordan (Lionel), Shirley Callis (Allen), Howard Broaddus, Jane Mitchem (Jimmy) and Elizabeth Rowe (Jimmy).

Carroll Lee was predeceased by his parents, John and Louise Spencer; a sister, Lois Spencer, and a brother, Charles Spencer.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hermitage Baptist Church, Church View. Interment was in the church cemetery.  The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Saluda.
