Carol A. Smith, a native of Gloucester County, (nee Seymour), age 81, of Williamstown, New Jersey, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Oct.13, 2020. She was born on May 20, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, to Harold and Grace Seymour. She was married to Wilbur L. Smith for 43 years and was a wonderful wife and mother of two daughters. She took pleasure in putting others before herself. Carol enjoyed spending time with her children, gardening, cooking, visiting the shore, supporting veterans’ charities, and was a fan of the Phillies. She was one classy lady. Beloved wife of the late Wilbur L. Smith of Gloucester. Devoted mother of Cynthia A. Smith and Cheryl L. Bernstein (Brett A.). Dear sister of Jean A. Buch, Susan Oleski, the late Mary Chalers, and the late Margaret Hummel. Sister-in-law of Evelyn Smith. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Samaritan Hospice for all of their kindness and compassion.
