Financial advisor Carlos Britos, who runs the Edward Jones office at Hayes, is winding up his first year at the firm, and will celebrate with an open house on Dec. 8.
Britos, whose office includes branch office administrator Donna West, came to Edward Jones after a nearly 20-year career with the U.S. Navy.“I loved my time in the service,” he said.
Even though Britos recently started his business in financial advising, it is what he has been interested in for many years.
“Investments and savings are something I have been interested in for 20 years. It’s been a passion of mine for a long time,” he said. “Making money is hard and you have to work hard to make your money so you should make your money work just as hard as you.”
Britos said that everyone should have a financial advisor, no matter what your age. He feels that most people think that you have to have money in order to have a financial advisor, but you need one in order to make money.
