Carl J. Iannacone, 61, of Hayes, Va., died Sept. 2, 2013 at his home.
Carl was born in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Jan. 3, 1952 to Carmine and Rose Iannacone. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Master’s in Public Administration. He had worked at University Hospital of Arkansas and as Property Manager with Jefferson Labs in Newport News, Va.
Carl loved bowling with his fun bunch on Wednesday evenings at Village Lanes Bowling Alley in Gloucester. He was an avid reader, enjoyed baseball and the Atlanta Braves. He loved his family and was a wonderful friend to all. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Iannacone; son, Darren Adams; daughter, Jennifer Holley; grandchildren, Kyle Holley, Kayla Adams, Danielle Adams and Brandi Holley; brother, Michael A. Iannacone; sister, Sally Wade; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Inurnment will be private.
