Camporee

More than 100 Scouts, leaders and parents gathered in the field behind the Abingdon Ruritan Club at Bena on Nov. 17-19 for the Historic Triangle District Fall Camporee. The event was facilitated by Scout Troop 133 sponsored by Groves Memorial Presbyterian Church. Scout units from Gloucester, Williamsburg, Poquoson, Seaford and one scout from Camp Lejeune, N.C., participated. Among the activities, Scouts from Williamsburg (above) take part in archery lessons, while Cub Scouts (below) held a rain gutter regatta.
