To paraphrase from one of Jesus Christ’s parables, one should not hide one’s lamp under a bushel.
That expression is especially appropriate right now, as the call has gone out for actors, singers, dancers and other creative individuals to take part in next year’s “The Living Passover” at Lighthouse Worship Center, Ordinary.
Auditions for the Easter musical extravaganza will be held at the church from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. The call has gone out to the entire community—both churched and unchurched—to take on one of the 120-140 on-stage roles, as well as countless behind-the-scenes jobs. There are singing and non-singing roles open for audition, and dancers needed to cover every style from classical ballet to traditional Jewish dance. Participants are sought from ages 5-95.
