The Gloucester County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday on a special exception request to establish a home occupation for gun sales and related services.
David W. Harper II, applicant, and Kimberly A. (Conner) Harper, property owner, have applied for a special exception under Article 14 of the Gloucester Zoning Ordinance. The property, located at 5395 Gum Fork Road, lies in the Abingdon Magisterial District and is zoned Suburban Countryside (SC-1).
The applicant seeks the special exception for gunsmithing, sale of hunting and outdoor supplies and accessories, as well as gun sales, a notice said.
In other matters, the board will elect officers for the fiscal year 2013-2014.
