Musicians Larry Burnett and Don Chapman will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Arts on Main in Gloucester. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for this concert in the Music on Main series.
There will be a beer and wine cash bar.
Burnett, who was recently inducted into the Colorado R&R Hall of Fame, rose to prominence in the 1970s as a 23-year-old member of the band Firefall. The group developed a pop-rock-midwest country sound in the tradition of the Byrds, Eagles, and Crosby, Stills and Nash, said a press release. Touring with such groups as the Doobie Brothers and Fleetwood Mac, Firefall cut a self-titled album that became Atlantic Recording Artists’ fastest album to sell half a million copies, said the release, and the group eventually sold six multi-platinum albums.
