Burline L. Turner, age 76, of Gloucester, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Burline was born on December 1, 1947 to the late Burley and Louise Clark. She had a great love for all animals, especially horses. She loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhonda Phillips, and sister, Jackie Clark. Burline is survived by her daughter, Kimberly James; grandchildren, Ashlee, Cody, Michael and Nicholas; four great-grandchildren, and sisters, Barbara Perkins and Millie Edwards. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 1-1:45 p.m., followed by a chapel service to begin at 2, conducted by the Rev. Raymond Debreaux. The entombment will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Hampton, at 11 a.m.
