Mobjack: Messrs. Hobday and Machen, the enterprising young contractors and builders who built the commodious and somewhat pretentious dwelling in Mobjack for Mr. Mayor, of Old Point, are now building a Cottage-Bungalow at this place for Mr. John Caskey, of Richmond, Va.
We learn that Capt. V.H. Machen, of this place, will soon begin the building of a handsome dwelling here which will be quite a credit to this picturesque little village.

A movement is on foot, and much interest has been shown by a number of Mathews citizens, in the proposed establishment of an up-to-date laundry at Mathews Court House.
The plan calls for the organization of a stock company composed of Mathews County people. It is possible that a building will be erected especially for this purpose and the machinery will be of the latest designs and modern in every respect. Any citizen that might...
