Bubba’s Shrimp Shack opens in White Marsh

Bubba’s Shrimp Shack opened Dec. 21 at White Marsh Shopping Center.
Owner Cole Crockett of Gloucester said he had been eyeing that mid-county location for some time, jumping at the chance to lease the space when another restaurant recently closed there.
General manager Ernie Campos of Gloucester Point said big sellers in the first few days have been shrimp, a shrimp and catfish combo, crab cake sandwich, and whiting.
All of the fish is fried at present, Campos said, but the owners plan to add some steamed shrimp soon. Besides an assortment of fish sandwiches and baskets, chicken sandwiches are also available. Cooked seafood is also sold by the pound.
The most popular side dishes are homemade macaroni and cheese, Crockett said, along with fries. There is a small selection of desserts; soft drinks, tea, juice and water are available.
