A community information meeting that was scheduled for tonight on the topic of broadband for Mathews County has been canceled because of newly-enacted COVID-19 restrictions.
Judy Rowe, chair of the Mathews Broadband Advisory Board, said the meeting will be rescheduled when conditions allow.
Broadband Telecom and representatives from AT&T FirstNet and Segra, provider companies, will still be participants, said Rowe.
