Brickwood Grill offers casual dining, comfort food

Brickwood Grill opened for business Sept. 20 on Route 17, White Marsh.

Owners Aaron and Stephanie Beach of Gloucester, previously operated Goodfellas restaurant at the same location. Stephanie said they closed only three days for renovations, then reopened with a new name, a different menu, and some changes in décor.

Brickwood Grill offers plenty of comfort food, including meatloaf wrapped in bacon—a big seller—and pot roast. Another popular entrée is cedar-grilled salmon.

The new format includes a menu with house specialties such as marinated rib-eye steak, Chicken Oscar with broccoli and crabmeat, pork chops, prime rib, and local seafood—crab cakes and pepper jack scallops. Pasta dishes include shrimp and scallop tortellini and fettucini primavera with veggies and white wine. Fried fish and prime rib French dip are among the sandwiches offered.
