Members of the Mathews Kiwanis Club and the Mathews High School Key Club held a pair of events Saturday morning at the Hyco House Event Center—Breakfast with Santa and Donuts with Santa—giving children a chance to give Mr. Claus their Christmas lists and family members to enjoy a bite to eat. Some of those working at the event included, from left, Kartier Soto, Sydney Kollar, Suki Zheng, Grayson Griffith, Kaylani Soto, Vivian Kollar, Kristin Morse (sitting on Santa’s lap), Jean Howard (Mrs. Claus), Wendy Kollar, Jill Casciello and Kelley Oakland. Mr. Claus will be out in the community again this weekend, including following the Mathews Christmas Parade, at Gloucester Library and at Christmas in Guinea (see related story).
