The Abingdon Ruritan Club collects different food item donations at each monthly meeting. This month’s meeting highlighted food staples and dry goods. Abingdon Ruritans collected and delivered 202 pounds of food to the Bread for Life Community Food Pantry on Feb. 14. Located at 7840 John Clayton Memorial Highway, Gloucester, Bread for Life’s mission is to be a community food pantry serving area residents who are in need.
