The Writers Guild of Virginia will hold its third annual Conference and Book Festival as an online event, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Author’s bookstores will be open all day. Talks are planned on this schedule: 10 a.m., “What the Heck Does a Writing Coach Do (and Do I Need One?) by John DeDakis; 11 a.m., “Writing Your Life,” by Sharon Canfield Dorsey; noon, “Your Second Act: How Writing Can Help in Changing Times,” by Ann Eichenmuller; 1 p.m., keynote address, “It’s Never Too Late to Write” by Bradley Harper; 2 p.m. “Tackling Sensitive Subjects” by Cindy L. Freeman; 3 p.m., “Writing Through Grief” by David Cariens.
Authors’ bookstores will be open all day in this virtual ceremony.
