Bobby Eugene Kellum, age 87, of Hayes, died Friday, September 1, 2023, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Bobby was a lifelong waterman and was preceded in death by his wife, Vernetta. Parents, Healy and Effie Bonniville Kellum; siblings, Dorothy Jenkins, Healy Kellum, Rebecca Fay Hogge, and Edward Kellum, preceded him in death as well.

He is survived by his son, Russell Kellum and wife Pam; grandchildren, Jordan Moody and husband Trey, Hailey Dimmock and husband Kyle; two great-grandsons; sister, Audrey Belvin; niece, Carol Lee Belvin, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. The family received friends on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home followed by a chapel service at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Richard Croxton. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
