The Bobby BlackHat Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester. Presented by Flat Iron and the Gloucester Arts Festival, the show will be outdoors. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with The Pull Up food truck. Tickets are $20 online at www.flatironcrossroads.com. Bobby BlackHat is a recording artist, harmonica player, vocalist, songwriter, comedian and producer who has been playing harmonica for over 46 years. A retired U.S. Coast Guard Commander, his career includes a stint as Military Aide to the President and being awarded the Coast Guard Medal for Heroism. As a musician, he has opened for such legends as B.B. King, Taj Mahal, Delbert McClinton, Patti LaBelle, Ramsey Lewis and Maze. He has also performed with Eddie Shaw, Kenny Neal, Ruthie Foster, Tas Cru, Jason Ricci, Slam Allen, Mick Kolassa, Fernando Jones, Memphis Gold and Lurrie Bell.
