Bobby BlackHat will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, in the Mathews High School auditorium.
Local audiences have requested the return to the Mathews stage of Bobby BlackHat, known as Virginia’s Blues Ambassador. He is an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, harmonica players, comedian, and producer.
Bobby BlackHat has opened for such music legends as B.B. King, Patti Labelle, and more. His music blends the influences of Chicago, Memphis, Piedmont, and Delta-style blues, as along with a bit of Gospel music.
Tickets are $30 at the door; students with ID are admitted free of charge.
