Mathews pitcher Justin Jones was the starting pitcher on Tuesday night, as the homestanding Devils faced Middlesex. Mathews fell to the Chargers, 14-1, in the Pink Out game. Danny Hogge, Cam Matthews. Colin Moore and Jones each made one hit for the team. Timmy Dehoux drew a pair of walks. Blake Hunley had the team’s only RBI. Jones was the winning pitcher last Thursday as the Devils defeated West Point, 16-4. Noah Wright and Hunley each had three hits in that game; Wright, Hunley, Moore and Dehoux had two RBIs apiece. The team will play next at home against King William. The MHS boys will host King William tonight, Thursday, April 25, beginning at 6.
