If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, the 2024 Blue Crab Arts and Crafts Festival may be the answer.
The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Hartfield on the grounds of the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club, 1860 Twiggs Ferry Road.
This event features 100 or more vendors selling original, handcrafted works of art with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, said festival chairman Macey White. There is a full lineup of musical performers, including Peyton Brabrand, Tom Euler, Hunter Owens, Clayton Neal, Gary Archer, and Jeff and Sherry Wagner. To quench your appetite, there will be food trucks, steamed crabs, and a beer and wine garden.
In addition to shopping, dining and listening to live music, activities include free croquet and lawn bowling lessons and games, and a professionally run shooting gallery at the Middlesex Shooting Sports Club range next door.
