The sixth annual Black Men Cooking, a culinary celebration featuring more than 20 chefs, will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 in the cafeteria of the Thomas C. Walker Education Center, Gloucester.

The Black History Month program is sponsored by Gloucester’s Epsilon Eta chapter of the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. The Rev. Vincent Pryor and three junior cooks—Anthony Ellis, Bryce Osbourne and Daryl Butler—will be the featured chefs.

A black history drama will be presented by Tracey Turner and Melinda Potts of Hampton, and a selection of music will be performed by Deacon Franklin Jarvis, guitarist. Raffle and door prize drawings will be among the many activities.
