Black Birders Week event Saturday at Beaverdam

The fifth annual Black Birders Week is currently underway and, this Saturday, June 1, members of the Gloucester NAACP and the Middle Peninsula Master Naturalists invite the public to Beaverdam Park for a chance to explore the bird population in the Gloucester park.
At 8 a.m., participants will gather in the parking lot of the main entrance. If you don’t have binoculars, there will be extras to borrow. Be sure to bring any supplies you may need such as water (or coffee) for this educational and fun outing.
Wear your walking shoes. All are welcome to this free event.
