Bird-watching April 18 on Ware House Road

The Middle Peninsula Bird Club will hold a bird-watching event on private property at 8 a.m. next Thursday, April 18, at 7134 Ware House Road (Route 621) Gloucester Court House.
Fox Mill Run forms one of the boundaries of the property. Turn right off Route 621 onto a dirt driveway past the VDOT and Forestry Department buildings. You will not see the house from the road; there is plenty of parking, a release stated.
Spring migration species should be seen on this walk. Last spring, club members saw several woodpecker species including Red-headed Woodpeckers, and a Hermit Thrush.
Any cancellations due to weather will be posted on the club’s Facebook page. You do not have to be an expert to join the walks; the Middle Peninsula Bird Club is an informal group with no membership fees. All levels of birders of birders are welcome.
