The Middle Peninsula Bird Club will conduct a bird walk starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Brent and Becky’s, 7900 Daffodil Lane, Ware Neck area.
A release said that “with spring approaching the birds are becoming more vocal, so now is a good time to practice birding by ear. Bring your binoculars and enjoy watching and listening to the variety of birds found on the property.”
The notice said that Brent and Becky’s is listed as a birding “hotspot” on eBird (Cornell University’s website of citizen birding observations).
The walks are open to all interested in birds, regardless of experience, the notice said. The group is informal with no membership fees; more information can be found on the club’s Facebook page.
