The Middle Peninsula Bird Club will guide participants in a bird walk on Tuesday at Gloucester’s Beaverdam Park; meet at the main entrance on Roaring Springs Road at 8 a.m. to view waterfowl, eagles, woodpeckers, forest birds and others.
There will be an optional trip to the north entrance off Fary’s Mill Road (Route 606) to view more species of waterfowl, grebes and forest birds.
Any cancellations due to weather will be posted on the club’s Facebook page.
You do not have to be an expert to join the walks; the Middle Peninsula Bird Club is an informal group with no membership fees. All levels of birders are welcome.
