Members of the Middle Peninsula Bird Club visited Captain Sinclair’s Recreational Area in the Naxera area of Gloucester on Nov. 7. They observed birds and waterfowl from the new pier on the Severn River, and as they walked around the unique property. Twenty-four species of birds were identified, including two Northern Harriers flying over the marsh. Bird outings are organized twice a month and are listed on the Club’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/groups/ midpenbirdclub; all levels of birders are welcome.
