A bingo game, a Best Years Trip to the Virginia State Fair, an upcoming Walk with Ease program, and Chair Yoga are just some of the offerings available for older adults from Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
Bingo, for ages 55 and over, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Stewart Building. Winners will receive prizes (not cash). The fee is $10 and the deadline to register is Sept. 20.
The Best Years Trip to the Virginia State Fair will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fee is $45 and the deadline to register is Sept. 21.
Gloucester PRT is sponsoring the Arthritis Foundation’s Walk with Ease program, Oct. 2-Nov. 8, at the Stewart Building. PRT won a grant from the National Recreation and Parks Association to have two instructors trained.
