Bill and Pam Gurley and friends will perform folk, bluegrass, and original tunes during an outdoor concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Flat Iron Crossroads, Gloucester.
Positive Pizza and Creekside Café food trucks will begin serving at 5:30 p.m. The venue is pet friendly, and children 10 and under are free.
Tickets are $18 in advance at flatironcrossroads.com or $20 at the door.
The Gurleys hail from the Tidewater region of Virginia and have entertained audiences for years in Tidewater and from Maine to the Caribbean. Bill Gurley is known as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, while Pam is best known for her captivating vocals.
The two are excited to be joined once again by their daughter, Macon, said a press release, adding that she has a distinctive voice and completes a trio that some refer to as “blood harmony,” a blend that “only genetics can create.” They have recorded a self-titled album as a family.
