Immanuel Baptist Church, Saluda, will celebrate its annual Bikers’ Blessing Day at 11 a.m. this Sunday at the church located at 317 Town Bridge Road. Sister Amanda L. Holmes Billups (above) of Immanuel Baptist Church will be the guest speaker. Billups, a graduate of Middlesex High School, is currently a sergeant with the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, where she is a School Resource Officer and DARE instructor. She received her master’s degree with high distinction from Liberty University in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. An 18-year Army Reservist and Army veteran, she is currently the Company Commander of the 8th BN 98th REGT Detachment in Richmond. Music for the program is under the direction of Brother Leon Harris.
