Betty (Yvonne) Woodcock Vansickle, age 66, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013.

 

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved worshiping at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, where she was a faithful member.

 

She was a native of Richmond and a Gwynn’s Island resident for the past 44 years.

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Murchie and Vera Woodcock.

 

She is survived by her two daughters, Pam German and Bonnie Parker; a sister, Rita Woodcock Pollard and her husband Randy; a grandson, Brandon German, and two nephews.

 

The family received friends on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. A funeral service was held in Cornerstone Fellowship Church on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at 2 p.m. with burial in Gwynn’s Island Cemetery.
