A funeral for Betty R. Spriggs, 82, of Cardinal, was held at 11 a.m. Monday in New Creation Ministries, Cobbs Creek. She died Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

Survivors include her children, Deacon Russell E. White, MSG (ret.) Tommy White, Minister Florence H. Parker and SFC (ret.) William H. White.

Burial followed in Poplar Wood Cemetery.

Knight Funeral Home, Mathews, was in charge.
