Betty Ann Claypool Cook, 85, of Oceana, W.Va., passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014.

She was a native of Pearisburg, Va., and was the daughter of the late John and Virginia B. Claypool. She was retired from Oceana School System in Oceana, W.Va., and was a member of White Marsh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ronald Lee Cook.

She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Morgan and Ginny Ellis; grandchildren, Jennifer Knowles, Jason Knowles, Devon Rowan, Lauren Rowan and Josh Rowan, and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at White Marsh Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. in Palm Memorial Garden in Oceana, W.Va.
