The Mathews County Sheriff’s Office received a $100 donation recently from the Bethel Church of Mathews to help fund some toys for a family in need this Christmas. Here, Nancy Rowe of Bethel Church presents the check to Sheriff April Edwards. “Even though we have said it before, we can never get tired of saying it—we are truly blessed to live and work in a community made up of people with the biggest of hearts,” a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page stated.
