The Virginia Department of Transportation announced last week that resurfacing is planned Wednesday through Friday, depending on weather, on Route 609, Bethel Beach Road, between Route 609, Hamburg Road, and Route 270, Bashi Shores Road. Mobile lane closures will be needed for this work, VDOT said.
