To observe One Great Hour of Sharing, Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, dispersed $22,000 to United Methodist agencies, and local agencies which work to improve the lives, and provide aid to those who have needs not met through typical channels or resources.
Of the 23 not-for-profit recipients, 20 of them were represented during a time of worship together recently. The money dispersed was the result of the proceeds received from Bethany’s biennial bazaar, all of which goes back into the mission field.
