Besty’s Barkery dog treats
Best friends mix it up

Christine Lipscomb and Bethany Stone, owners of Besty’s Barkery, met a few years ago while both of their boys were in Cub Scouts. It never crossed their minds that one day they would be business partners. Over the years they both volunteered and served in Scout activities whenever needed. “Both sons became Eagle Scouts.” Working together, they formed a close friendship, and this friendship that is very much in progress today as business partners.
Moving their lives on to 2020, the pandemic year, the idea of going into the business of making dog treats arose. “Things at work were slowing down and I knew the animal shelters were empty,” Christine explained. “We both love dogs so we started inquiring about what steps we had to take. Little did we know what awaited us.”
