Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring a Best Years Trip to the State Fair of Virginia from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28. The fee is $45 and the deadline to register is Sept. 21.
Another Best Years Trip, to Graves Mountain, will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. The fee is $45 and the deadline to register is Sept. 29. Best Years Trips are for ages 55 and older.
Additionally, bingo for ages 55 and over will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Stewart Building. Winnings are prizes (no cash). The fee is $10 and the deadline to register is Sept. 20.
