Bena couple recalls a lifetime full of adventures

When Graham Blake ran out of his burning house in the middle of the night, he realized he had forgotten one important thing—his wife.
It only took Graham a few moments to realize that Sue, his companion of 38 years, was not by his side. Without a second thought (and completely barefoot), he ran back into the thick smoke and started calling Sue’s name.
It was with a great sense of relief that, within seconds, Graham heard her reply. She simply said, “I’m right here.” As it turned out, she and her husband found a safe exit through different doors. They were reunited within a matter of minutes. Both were unharmed.
