Belvin Cook Palmer Jr. “B.C.”, 66, of Gloucester passed away Oct. 15, 2014.

He was the son of the late Belvin C. Palmer Sr. and Grace Palmer. B.C. was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Palmer.

Mr. Palmer retired from Verizon with over 37 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and a NASCAR fan.

B.C. is survived by his wife, Linda Palmer; sister, Susan Closs (Chuck Sydnor); nephew, Christopher Closs (Nicole), and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

The family received friends on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service was conducted on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment followed in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, Va.
