Beauty salon opens in Gloucester

Lines and Angles Beauty Salon opened for business in late November on Route 17, Gloucester, just north of Boulevard Cleaners and across from the Bill Hudgins automotive dealership.

Owner Joni Ratliff of Harcum, said she offers hair care and other personal beauty services for men, women and children.

Ratliff has worked alone at the shop for the first couple of months in business, but plans for her niece, Grace Linares of Yorktown, to join her soon. Linares is a nail technician, having worked one year for a Peninsula salon, and will offer acrylic and gel nails here.

Ratliff offers a baby’s first haircut for free, with haircuts and styling available for all family members. Chemical services include color and corrective color, full and partial highlighting, and spiral perms.

The salon offers eyebrow and eyelash tinting, lip, chin, brow and leg waxing services, as well as beard and mustache trims.
